Learn moreMost renovation quotes are not comparable.
Three contractors quote the same kitchen and the numbers land $20,000 apart. That is almost never because one is greedy and one is generous. It is because they have quietly scoped three different jobs.
What separates the quotes
The cheap number usually assumes nothing goes wrong behind the wall. No allowance for the wiring that turns out to be knob-and-tube, the subfloor that has to come up, or the wall that is holding something. When those appear — and in a home built before 1980 they usually do — they arrive as change orders, and the cheap quote stops being cheap somewhere around week three.
We would rather find that work at the quoting stage, tell you about it while you can still make a decision, and put it in the number. It makes our quote look worse on day one and look considerably better on day forty.
What "managed end to end" actually means
It means one person is accountable for the whole job, and it is not you. You are not calling the tiler to ask why the plumber has not been. You are not discovering on a Friday that the countertop template was never booked. Trades are sequenced before demolition starts, materials are ordered against that sequence, and someone whose name you know is answerable when it slips.
Every service on this page runs that way. A single bathroom gets the same scheduling discipline as a whole-home renovation — it just takes less of it.
Where to start if you are not sure
If you know the room, pick it above. If you are weighing a few options, or you are not certain whether you want one room done properly or three done adequately, book the consultation and talk it through. We will tell you honestly which projects will return the most for what you are prepared to spend, including when the answer is to do less this year and do it right.
Four steps, zero guesswork.
